LAB Virtual Experience 2020 Entrepreneurs: Building a Taste for Business
Join us for a different kind of Learning About Business experience – a series of webinars that will provide a toolbox of skills and information needed to run an entrepreneurial business in today’s challenging and competitive environment. Students will hear from experts in a series of seven online webinars conducted over the course of four weeks. There is no fee to participate in this summer program.

A Movable Feast – A Food Truck Experience
All sessions will be recorded and made available for those who cannot attend the live webinar.
Following the webinars, students will be introduced to, and trained in, an online simulation of running a Food Truck business. During the week of July 13, they operate their Food Truck business. Students will overcome unexpected challenges, meet deadlines, make purchases, set pricing and learn how all these variables affect the bottom line. At the end of the competition, the top five students who earn the most profit while running their Food Truck will each receive gift cards: First Place for $200; Second Place for $100; Third, Fourth and Fifth Place for $50.
In addition, students are eligible to earn one college credit through Lake Erie College for their participation in Lab Virtual Experience 2020.
